Pediatric Dentist

Katerina Theocharopoulou was born and grew up in Athens-Greece. She attended the primary school Saint-Paul in Ano Patissia-Athens and later Leonin Lyceum of Patissia-Athens, Greece. She was admitted to the Dental School of Athens-Greece from which she received her degree in 2009. After her graduation, she worked as a general dentist for 1 year in the Dental Department of 251 General Aviation Hospital and later in a private clinic in Sheffield-England, contracted with the National Health System of United Kingdom.

In 2011 she was admitted to the Academic Center for Dentistry (ACTA) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, for her 3-year specialization in Pediatric Dentistry, which she completed in 2014. During her specialization, she gained significant clinical experience treating children and patients with disabilities, but also operating dental treatment using behavior managing techniques, sedation and general anesthesia.

At the same time with her training in the university, she also worked as a pediatric dentist in a private clinic in Amsterdam-Netherlands. Upon her return to Greece in 2014, she worked as a pediatric dentist in private clinics while she attended for 3 years the Pediatric Dentistry Department of the School of Dentistry, University of Athens-Greece, as an associate, teaching graduate students. Since 2016 she works full-time at her own pediatric dental clinic in Galatsi-Athens. She speaks English, French and Dutch.

1.9.2011 – 3.7.2014 - Three year full-time postgraduate program in Pediatric Dentistry in Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam, Netherlands (ACTA)

December 2016 until now - full time at my pediatric clinic.
